Refund & Cancellation Policy
In one line. An individual licence can be refunded in full within 7 days of the first payment. An institution licence cannot be refunded once the master code has been issued. The 30-day free trial exists so that neither case should come up.
1. Individual licences

2. Institution licences
An institution licence is non-refundable once the master code has been issued, because that code is not bound to a machine and cannot be recalled — it will unlock every machine in your institution for its full term, and we have no way to take it back.
This is why we ask schools to evaluate fully before buying. The 30-day trial covers as many machines as you like, with every feature, so a school can test properly before committing. If a master code has not yet been issued — for example a payment that cleared but whose email never arrived — we will refund it in full.
3. Cancelling a renewal
If you set up autopay, you can cancel it at any time from your bank's or UPI app's mandate list, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops all future charges. It does not refund a period you have already paid for, and the licence keeps working until that period ends.
If you paid once rather than setting up autopay, there is nothing to cancel — the licence simply expires and we will not charge you again without your instruction.
4. How to ask for a refund
Write to hello@mirsolutions.in with:
- the email address the licence was bought with, and
- the Razorpay payment reference, which is on the receipt Razorpay emailed you.
Those two together are enough for us to find the purchase and verify it is yours. We do not need anything else, and we will not ask you to justify the request within the 7 days.
5. How long it takes
We aim to acknowledge within three working days and to action a refund within seven working days of agreeing it. The money returns to the method you paid with, and how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 5 to 10 working days after we process it. Razorpay will send you a confirmation when the refund is issued.
6. What happens to the licence
When a full refund is processed, the licence is cancelled and no further code will be issued for that machine. A code you already hold will keep working until its own expiry date, because it is verified on your computer rather than by us — but it will not be renewed. A partial refund leaves the licence running, because you have still paid for part of it.
7. If something is wrong
If the software does not work, or a code does not arrive, tell us first. Most of these are fixed in a day — a resent code, a corrected address, a stuck activation — and a refund is not always what you actually wanted.
